Skilled trade fun at Tech Camp

Yolanda Braun, 14, of Aylmer was sanding the front of her wooden house at the East Elgin Secondary School Tech Camp on Thursday, July 10. Eighteen children participated in the skilled trades camp that included woodworking and electronics projects. After she was done sanding and assembling the house she designed, Ms. Braun was going to stain it. The week-long free camp was made possible through a grant from the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program.
