Senior Eagles hammer Voaden in girls basketball

East Elgin SecoSenior girls basketballndary School Senior girls basketball player Lindsay Nooren tried to swipe the ball away from a defending Arthur Voaden opponent during a game in Aylmer on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The home team won easily 47-13 with Kendra Horlick scoring 13 points, Amanda Milmine eight and Katie Parker another eight. The win brings East Elgin’s record to 2-0 in South East league play and 4-1 overall. East Elgin’s girls basketball teams travel to St. Thomas to face host Central Elgin Collegiate Institute on Thursday, Oct. 2, the Juniors tipping off at 3:30 p.m. and the Seniors at 5 p.m.
