The home team won easily 47-13 with Kendra Horlick scoring 13 points, Amanda Milmine eight and Katie Parker another eight. The win brings East Elgin’s record to 2-0 in South East league play and 4-1 overall. East Elgin’s girls basketball teams travel to St. Thomas to face host Central Elgin Collegiate Institute on Thursday, Oct. 2, the Juniors tipping off at 3:30 p.m. and the Seniors at 5 p.m.
