Shoppers Drug Mart to become an IDA store

Its official – the Aylmer Shoppers Drug Mart in Aylmer will change its banner to an IDA store in mid-November.

The change of hands of the store was made official on Friday, Oct. 31 when the Competition Bureau, a federal government agency, announced via a media release that it had approved the sale of 10 Shoppers Drug Mart stores to McKesson and Pharmasave.

McKesson Canada is the parent company of the IDA brand of independent pharmacy stores.
