EESS climbs for United Way

Several East Elgin Secondary Stair ClimbSchool students including Allie DeCoutere, Brianna Dempsey, Aubree Untch and Brennen Weber participated in the Stair Climb event at East Elgin Community Complex on Thursday morning, Nov. 6 to raise money for United Way Elgin-St. Thomas. The Stair Climb was part of EESS’s campaign to raise a total of $10,000 for the United Way which has been reached. Principal Brendon White and Vice-Principal Abe Wall, who is well-known for wearing his hair long in a ponytail, agreed to have their hair cut if the campaign reached its goal. The hair cutting ceremony would be held soon.
