EESS Jr. volleyball team out of divisional playoffs

Cooper VanVlaanderen of East Elgin Secondary School’s Junior boys volleyball team bumped a host Central Elgin Collegiate Institute serve during a Thames Valley Regional South semifinal on Tuesday, Nov. 4. EESS won the first game 25-21, but then lost the next three to be knocked out of divisional playoffs. The East Elgin team, along with their Senior counterparts, will still compete in a WOSSAA AAAA championship tournament at Saunders Secondary School in London on Friday, Nov. 14. Juniors will play at 9 and 11 a.m. and Seniors at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
