Special meetings on Complex RFP set for Jan. 15

Both Aylmer and Malahide councils will hold special meetings on Thursday, Jan. 15 to set up what will hopefully become a joint session of all elected officials immediately afterwards to discuss the next step in the business plan for East Elgin Community Complex.

The series of meetings will take place in the Blue Line Room on the second floor of the Complex starting at 3 p.m.

The meetings are open to the public.

The Jan. 15 session was coordinated by the mayors and the chief administrators of both municipalities in an effort to move the process forward of deciding the future of the Complex and possibly awarding a contract to a consulting firm to prepare a business plan for the facility’s operation to find savings and efficiencies.
