Aylmer Novice Rep win series clincher in OT

Aylmer Flames Novice Rep goalie Dawson WNovice Repalcarius watched the puck fly by his net during game five of his hockey team’s Southern Counties Ontario Minor Hockey Association playoff series versus Six Nations at East Elgin Community Complex on Friday night, Feb. 20. Aylmer won 5-4 in overtime on a goal scored by Donovan Appleford with four minutes left to play. With the win, Aylmer also won the six point playoff series versus Six Nations after the Flames had lost the first two games. They stormed back to win three straight games. The Flames are tied with Delhi for first place in Southern Counties round robin play. Aylmer has three games left to play and are expected to finish in the top four and advance to the next series.
