Complex hosts large hockey tournament

Aylmer FlamesPeewee Rep Peewee Rep hockey player John Orlebar cleared the puck from his defensive zone during a tournament game versus the Six Nations Blackhawks at East Elgin Community Complex on Friday morning, April 3. Aylmer lost that game 5-1 to Six Nations and tied Waterford 4-4 the night before. Aylmer was blanked 5-0 by Strathroy in their third game but managed to edge Watford 5-4 in the consolation final on Saturday. Teams from all over Ontario competed in the Easter holiday long weekend Rep tournament the Aylmer Minor Hockey Association hosts every April. The tournament involved teams from the novice age level all the way up to juvenile.
