e experienced advice tried their luck during the Mahlon Hale Children’s Fishing Derby at the East Elgin Sportsmen’s Association pond northeast of Aylmer on Saturday morning, May 2. Several children and their parents, grandparents and other family members attended the event. Children under age 16 could fish for free.
