This handsome fellow was just one of the creepy denizens of the “Screamfield” Haunted Walk outside Malahide Community Place in Springfield on Tuesday evening, Oct. 27. Presented by Out There Creative Therapy, Screamfield continues on Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30 from 7-10 p.m. Admission to the pre-Halloween attraction is “$5 a head” with a portion of the proceeds going towards mental health programs in Elgin County. A licensed family costume dance party will be part of the freaky festivities on the Friday evening, Oct. 30. Kids 12 years and under can dance free from 7-10 p.m. with an adult dance from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. Cost for the adult dance is “$10 per head.” The haunted walk, which winds along the grounds outside Malahide Community Place and starts and ends inside the building, is recommended for ages 10 and up.
