Clayton Douglas Moore
MOORE, Clayton Douglas of Caressant Care St., St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, at his late residence, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Olive Marie (Creed) Moore (2013). Clayton was the last of his family Predeceased by 3 brothers William (2012), Kenneth (2007), John (2014) and a sister Joanne Hill (2010). Sadly missed by a number of brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. He was born in St. Thomas on February 12th, 1945, the son of the late Kenneth and Irene Moore. Clayton worked at Ford Talbotville. He was a member of the C.A.W. Clayton was an avid History buff and enjoyed nature, especially feeding the birds and taking in stray cats. A celebration of Clayton’s life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Saturday, January 18th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
