Douglas Osbourne

Today, May 27, 2018, I said goodbye to my life partner of 54 years. We had good times, challenging times, lots of fun, and for this, you will always be in my heart. I will miss you terribly. Continuing on my own will be difficult. Please keep me company and watch over me. I know you are in a better place, at peace and can finally breathe easier and have no pain. Rest easy until I see you again. Loving wife, Marilyn.

Doug is also survived by his children Shirley (John), John (Elle), Susan (Darrin), Sharon (Rick), James (Kitty), 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Dave and Don (Dorothy), mother-in-law Irene Taylor. Predeceased by dad (John), mother (Mildred), 2 brothers Jack and Gordon. In keeping with his wishes, no funeral will take place. Cremation has already taken place. All relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, May 31 between 1-4 p.m. at the house. Memorial donations can be made to The Sunshine Foundation (London), or St. Thomas Elgin General ICU. Special thank you to Dr. Howe, all VON nurses, PSW, and St. Thomas Elgin General ICU. Your memory lives on.
