Edward Louis “Ted” Kidder

KIDDER, Edward Louis “Ted” of Aylmer passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer with family by his side at Parkwood Hospital, London on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Joanne (Rombough) Kidder. Dear father of Tim Kidder (John) of Vancouver, B.C. and Brent Kidder (Amy) of Talbotville. Proud and loving grandfather of Liam and Danica. Brother of Penny Sue Gibbons. Brother-in-law of Philip Rombough. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Born in St. Thomas on August 21, 1942, son of the late Eugene and Edna (Parker) Kidder. Ted was an avid sports enthusiast. He was a player, coach and supporter, especially of the youth sports. He coached the Aylmer Hornets to an Ontario championship, as well as coached Aylmer Minor Hockey for many years. He was an avid hockey player, golfer and above all, cherished spending time with his family and friends. Ted was a former member of the Aylmer Kinsmen Club, K40, Pleasant Valley and Pine Knot Golf Clubs and a respected car salesman for many years, both in St. Thomas and Aylmer. A celebration of Ted’s life will be held at the Canada Southern Station (CASO Station) 605 Talbot Street, St. Thomas on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A private family service will be held.
