Born in New Liskeard, Ontario on November 29, 1918 to Wilmot and Priscilla Reid. She grew up in Copenhagen. Beloved wife of the late Bev Gagen(Dec. 2006). Elma lived in St. Thomas and worked in the office at the Carnation Milk Plant for over 35 years. After retiring, she joined the St. Thomas Senior Centre; first, enjoying seniors slow pitch ball team, then onto seniors clogging, which became her passion. The “Twilight Cloggers” entertained at nursing and retirement homes until she was 88. Before COVID, Elma enjoyed playing cards with her friends at Harvest Retirement Home and always tapping her toes at their “Happy Hour” music. She was still an avid reader. An inspiration to us all. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
