High school students learn to lawn bowl

East Elgin Secondary School Grade 12 student Jeff Bullas collected bowls during an hour-long session of learning how to play a new sport at Aylmer Lawn Bowling Club on Thursday, June 5. EESS physical education teacher Brandie Geerts brought her Grade 12 class to the lawn bowling greens located on Centre Street between Sydenham St. and Pine St. Volunteer lawn bowling club members were on hand to provide instruction and advice to the students.
