Migrant worker pleads guilty to sex attack
In a St. Thomas courtroom on Monday, June 9, a migrant worker from Trinidad pled guilty to three charges stemming from a sexual assault in Bayham last October.
The 36-year-old man was sentenced to seven years in prison in what the Elgin Ontario Provincial Police originally called a “violent” attack on a woman in her own home on Oct. 19, 2013.
