Torch Run travels through Aylmer
The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics wound its way through Aylmer on Monday morning, June 16, seen here on Queen Street approaching South St. West. The Torch Run began at East Elgin Secondary School and headed east down Talbot St. to Queen St. and then west along South St. with a stop at Assumption Catholic Elementary School for the presentation of a $100 donation and then by McGregor Public School where all of the pupils lined the street to cheer the runners on. The Torch Run ended back at EESS.
