“Yarn bomb” explodes in Port Stanley
The front of the Port Stanley Library was turned into a colourful “yarn bomb” on Saturday morning, June 7. Members of the Itty Bitty Knitty Committee who meet at the library made small triangular flags that were hung up outside the library to celebrate International Yarn Bombing Day. Later on, a group of children put up a finger knitting tent they had made for the day. The public was invited out to celebrate a day of colourful beautification at the library and refreshments were served.
