Fireworks thrill young and old at the Complex

A non-stop over 20 minute long fireworks show was seen by thousands of local residents and visitors at the end of the Canada Day celebration at East Elgin Community Complex on the eastern outskirts of Aylmer on Tuesday night, July 1. The fireworks display is sponsored each year by the Aylmer Kinsmen Club. Other attractions during the celebration that late afternoon and evening included several children’s games and activities, food and refreshment vendors, indoor and outdoor live entertainment and pony-drawn buggy rides.
