Under 18 Belmont Girls warm up for final

Kendra Horlick of host Belmont Van Bommel Farms Under 18 Girls soccer team sent a long, lobbing shot that dropped into the opposing net during the team’s final regular season game against OAK Tae Kwan Do, Sunday, Aug. 10. Belmont, which leads its division, has already advanced to the final of West London Soccer’s Challenge Cup. The girls will take on DKB 1 for the title at the Thames Centre soccer pitches just west of Dorchester, Sunday, Aug. 17, at 8:30 a.m. The day before, Belmont’s Under 16 Girls will play at home at 8 a.m. and their Under 14 counterparts at 10 a.m. in semifinals. If they win, the Under 16 Girls will play for the championship at Thames Centre Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and the Under 14 Girls at 12:30 p.m.
