Bayham recount decision postponed
A decision on whether or not a recount will be conducted in the Oct. 27 Bayham election was postponed until a hearing can be held on Monday, Feb. 2 at the Elgin County Courthouse in St. Thomas.
A judge decided there wasn’t enough time on the docket during the Monday, Jan. 5 date originally set aside for the matter at the St. Thomas courthouse.
He also wanted an opportunity to further review the application filed by Straffordville resident Will Arlow and any other materials related to the application.
Two hours were set aside for the Feb. 2 hearing that is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
