Brides to be check out services at CASO Expo

Miranda Ross of St. Thomas, left, sampled some cupcakes made by bakers from Grandma’s Oven at the Aylmer business’s booth during the fifth annual Bridal Expo held at the Canada Southern Railway Station in St. Thomas on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 11. Ms. Ross was accompanied by her mother Sharon, middle, while Grandma’s Kitchen baker Lisa Klassen told them about the services her business can provide through its wedding side, Every Occasion Cakes. Ms. Ross plans to get married to her fiancé Matt Hughson in August 2016. Over 30 vendors set up booths at the CASO Station for the Bridal Expo ranging from flower shops, DJs and musicians, caterers, photographers, decorators, ministers,transportation and locations. Wine and beer tasting was also offered along with a bridal swap table on the second floor where past brides could sell their previously used décor.
