Davenport dresses up for Halloween
Pupils and staff at Davenport Public School in Aylmer celebrated Halloween on Friday, Oct. 30 by dressing up in costumes and bringing in canned goods to be donated to Corner Cupboard food bank as admission to a dance that afternoon. Some of the colourful, scary and not-so-scary costumes were worn by, front row, from left: Giuliana Ierullo (red shirt and glasses), Sovann Green, Sienna Pratt, Alyssa Sawatzky; back row: Alexandra Rupert, teacher Mrs. Brown, Lauren Kauenhofen, Ellie Marshall, Adam “d’bacon” Dekraker, teacher Mrs. Gutmanis, Anna Friesen and Tracey Dyck. The Davenport pupils also participated in a pumpkin carving contest.
