Mackenzie Blues Band rock a packed Theatre
Guitarist Trevor Mackenzie, left, his vocalist wife Tara and the rest of The Mackenzie Blues Band backed up their growing reputation as one of Canada’s most talented hard rocking blues bands with a sold-out performance at Aylmer Old Town Hall Theatre on Saturday night, Nov. 14, the latest show brought to the venue by the Aylmer Performing Arts Council. The Owen Sound-based band won best new artist at last year’s Maple Blues Awards and have made the semifinals twice at the International Blues Challenge. Their debut album Back Road Revelation was mastered at Abbey Road Studios, made famous by none other than The Beatles. Pink Floyd also recorded at the iconic London, England studio. The next APAC show at Old Town Hall Theatre will be the John McDermott Trio on Sunday, Dec. 6.
