Eagles fall to Huron Park 4-3 in boys hockey semifinal

Mitch Bakker of host East Elgin Secondary School flipped the puck past the Woodstock Huron Park goalie to tally his team’s first goal during a Thames Valley Southeast semifinal at East Elgin Community Complex on Thursday, Feb. 18. Matt Nezezon and Zach Sporbeck also scored for EESS, but it wasn’t quite enough, as Woodstock took a 4-3 victory in overtime. EESS will play in a WOSSAA tournament in London on Feb. 29.
