EESS bests Glencoe 8-0 in first game of quarterfinal series

Erik Scherer of host East Elgin Secondary School rushed the puck down the ice during the first game of a best-of-three Thames Valley Southeast boys hockey quarterfinal series against Glencoe District High School at East Elgin Community Complex, Tuesday, Feb. 9. EESS blanked Glencoe 8-0, with goalie Sebestian Graham earning the shutout. Mitch Bakker scored a hat-trick and Jake Berdan two goals. EESS plays in Glencoe on Thursday, Feb. 11.
