Bee beard highlights Clovermead Honey Festival

stra braved very close proximity of thousands of bees as the subject of a bee beard demonstration at Clovermead Adventure Farm north of Aylmer on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 27. The bee beard demonstration was just one of the many attractions for visitors during Clovermead’s month-long annual Honey Festival held each Saturday in August. Other items of interest included honey extraction demonstrations, taste testing honey right out of the hive, candle dipping, wagon rides, face painting, beekeeper dress-up and crafts. And as always, Clovermead Adventure Farm has plenty of farm and bee-related activities for children.
