Two charged with murdering EESS alumnus
St. Thomas Police have charged two men with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Billy Lamers, an East Elgin Secondary School alumnus, at his St. Thomas apartment.
Police say Mr. Lamers was stabbed at 337 Talbot St. at about 12:45 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, and later died at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
Police have charged Corey Jolliffe, 23, of St. Thomas and Daniel Cloutier, 28, of St. Thomas with first-degree murder.
