“Bail for Jail” nabs Mayor Greg Currie

Aylmer Mayor Greg Currie, left, who’d been “arrested” and brought before a St. Thomas Crime Stoppers court in St. Thomas Thursday, Oct. 13, by town Constable Charity Duckworth, reacted after being told by “Judge” Marg Goulding he’d have to raise $600 for the program before he’d be released from a makeshift cell. Crime Stoppers pays informants for tips leading to the solving of crimes in this area.
