Let’s start with dessert, Grandpa!

Kylan Mohammed, 3, got a boost by his grandfather John Waite to get a closer look at the Halloween-themed cupcakes that would be the dessert of the first ever Aylmer Optimist Club Christmas Toy Drive Spaghetti Dinner at the clubhouse on Saturday evening, Oct. 29. The fundraising dinner included either meat or vegetarian spaghetti sauce with the noodles, Caesar salad, garlic toast along with beverages and a cash bar. Optimist President Dave Green said the club members planned on holding monthly dinners throughout the year to help raise money for their annual toy drive at Christmas time.
