Body found in parked car
The body of an Ingersoll man, 46, was found inside his car in the parking lot of the Tim Horton doughnut shop in Aylmer Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 8 a.m.
Police Chief Andre Reymer said foul play was not suspected. The man had gone into the store the previous evening to get a coffee, came back out with it in hand, got into his car and never left.
A customer found him the next morning, lying sideways on the front seat of the car below the level of the dashboard. The body was cold and the cup of coffee he had bought frozen.
Medical attempts to thaw and revive the man failed. A port-mortem is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
