David Martens

MARTENS, David A special person, a special face, a special someone we cannot replace.  David Martens of Tilbury and formerly of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Hotel-Dieu Grace Health Care, Windsor on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in his 68th year following a lengthy illness. Husband of Margaret (Dueck) Martens. Father of Sue Parker (Ken), Nancy Dyck (Herman), Dave (Liz), Margie Giesbrecht and Jake. Grandfather to Taylor, Alyssa, Trystan, Josiah, Jelena, Katelyn, Alex and Bradley. Brother to Bill, Jake and the late John. Born in Chihuahua Mexico on February 21, 1951, son of the late David and Aganetha (Ungar) Martens. David worked for many years with his friends at the Imperial Leaf Tobacco. He loved road trips and country music. A private funeral service was held Friday, September 13, 2019. Memorial donations to Pallative Care at Hotel-Dieu Grace, Windsor would be greatly appreciated.
