Anna Hiebert

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Anna Hiebert.  Anna passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the Woodstock General Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer, at the age of 59 years.  Anna’s battle with cancer showed how strong and determined she was.  Anna was born on April 30, 1961 in Mexico to her late father Gerhard (George) Hiebert and her late mother Sara Hiebert (nee Wall).  She has been promoted to Glory and has been reunited with her cherished daughter Linda (2000).  She will be missed by her long time boyfriend Mark.  Anna was a loving sibling to her sister Sara (the late Bill), sister Helen (Jake), brother John (Tina), brother George, sister Nancy (Lorenzo), sister Mary and brother Henry (Yolanda).
Predeceased by her brother Abe Hiebert. Anna will be forever loved by her dearest friend Lynda Pankratz and her family. We are sorry to report that due to the ongoing restrictions resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus there can be no community visitations or public funeral. A private family funeral will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 12:00 p.m.  Friends and relatives are welcome to be a part of the funeral service via YouTube Live.  Private family interment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the Hiebert family and can be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with arrangements.  Friends and relatives are invited to show their support by sending special heartfelt tributes, and hugs from home in memory of Anna to www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com.
