Christmas lights go up in Port Bruce

A group of volunteers with the Port Bruce Ratepayers Association helped two employees of Eastlink while they strung up the Christmas lights on the tall tree in Wonnacott Park on Wednesday morning, Nov. 25. The volunteers were surprised when not just one Eastlink ladder truck but two showed up for the task. The Port Bruce Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in Wonnacott Park. Santa Claus will drop by in his sleigh and everyone is invited to join him at North Erie Marina afterwards for hot beverages and treats.
