Aylmer Bantam squad wins Christmas Cup

on of the Aylmer Flames Bantam Local League hockey team passed the puck out of danger to a teammate during a Christmas Cup tournament game versus a squad from Beverly at East Elgin Community Complex on Monday, Dec. 28. That game ended in a 4-4 tie. With a 6-1 win over Delhi in their first game of the tournament, Aylmer qualified for the championship final which they won over Tillsonburg 4-2. Aylmer sits in second place in the Lambton-Middlesex Local League Bantam East Division with a seven wins, two losses and five ties record and 19 points. Belmont is in first place with a 14-1-2 record and 30 points.
