Chase the Chill distribution starts Saturday, Nov. 5

Volunteers Leslie Graham, left, and Joanne Van Eyk put tags on hats, scarves, mittens and gloves donated for the 2016 “Chase the Chill” warm clothing distribution that started Saturday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. on the steps of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on John Street South in Aylmer. Organizer Marscha Huber said over 450 items of winter clothing had been donated and would be available free to anyone who needed it. The clothing will be left on the railings of the church steps for the next four weeks. She asked anyone with additional donations to make to contact her via Facebook or to put the clothes directly on the railings.
