Arthur Fisher

Arthur Fisher of Straffordville, Ontario passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday February 25, 2023, at the Woodstock Hospital. Husband of Mary (Abel) for 34 years. Loved Dad of Douglas, and Elora and her husband Joseph Sargent. Sadly, Grandpa Art missed meeting his soon to be born grandson. He is survived by his siblings Judy Tisdale, Fred (Debbie) Fisher, Victor (Dora) Fisher, and Eddie (Grace) Fisher. Remembered fondly by the Abel Family, and by all of his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mildred and Allan Fisher.

Art was a world champion trap shooter, a long-standing member of the Straffordville Lions Club, an avid bowler, and a registered Scout Leader for over 20 years. A Celebration of Art’s Life will be held on Canada Day…. Art loved his fireworks! Memorial donations to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation are appreciated.
