BERGEN, Margaret of Aylmer passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in her 81st year. Be-loved wife of Peter Bergen. Dear mother of Peter Bergen (Sue) of Aylmer, Margaret Bergen of Winkler, Manitoba, Tina Wiebe (Abe) of RR 4 Aylmer, Anna Bergen of Aylmer, Maria Sawatzky (Francis-co) of Stratford and Helen Bergen of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Timothy, Daniel, Andrew, Jeremy, Adrian and Armando. Also survived by a number of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Born in Durango, Mexico on November 14, 1939, daughter of the late Isaac and Katharina (Andres) Hildebrandt. For many years, Margaret and Peter worked together on the family farm. Margaret was a homemaker and mother and enjoyed quilting. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church (50619 Talbot Line, Aylmer) on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
