Carol Player
Player, Carol of Aylmer passed away peacefully with family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, March 22, 2019 in her 78th year. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on November 1, 1941, daughter of the late Eric and Eva Belle (Cloes) Teeple. Beloved wife of Keith Player. Dear mother of Mike Player (Torie) of Belmont and Julie Player (Greg) of Aylmer. Loving nana of Carlie, Bailey and Jenna. She will be missed by her brothers Dan Teeple (Wanda), Grant Teeple (Barb), sisters Judy Hartley(Bruce), Sylvia Hall (late Terry) and a number of nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Woodstock General Hospital School for Nurses, Carol began a 34-year journey as a Registered Nurse at STEGH, which included many years of service in outpatient surgery. Carol was an active member in this community, taking part in the Sew and Sews and Knitting Guild, and had many years of devoted volunteerism at the Aylmer Museum. Her passion, care, and love for people was undeniable and evident in all of her endeavors.

Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
