Donna Elizabeth Marr

On Friday, February 22, 2019, at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Donna Elizabeth Marr, formerly of Eden, was called home to be with her Lord, at the age of 86 years.  Beloved wife of the late Colin Marr (2014).  A wonderful loving mother to her daughters, Marsha Campbell and her husband Scott of St. Thomas, Kimberly Pressey and her husband Dean of Eden, and Colleen Figg and her partner Eric Weir, also of Eden.  Warm hearted and proud grandmother and step- grandmother to Sean Volkaert (Tracy), Keri (Brad) Smith, Lee Pressey (Elana), Paul Pressey (Allison), Adelle (Aaron) Depaepe, Emily (Jason) Schmuck, Grant Campbell, Paul Weir, and Jamie Smith.  Great grandmother and step-great grandmother to 13 great grandchildren. Survived by brother Bud Ketchabaw (Beryl) Etobicoke and brother-in-law Larry (Eleanor) Marr, sister-in-laws Marion and Bea Marr. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Charlie and Treva Ketchabaw, twin sister Doris (Don) Small, sister Mary Lou (Horst) Rusch, brother-in-laws Willis and Ken Marr, sister-in-laws Edna (John) Lysko, Marion (Tom) Crane, Jean Ritter and step-granddaughter Kym Smith. Donna was organist, choir director and longtime member of Eden Baptist Church. During Donna’s working years she was employed as a secretary at Federation Insurance in Tillsonburg. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday February 27, 2019 from 12 – 2 p.m.  The Funeral Service for Donna will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Andy Brndjar officiating. Interment will take place at Eden Cemetery following the service. Memorial donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Eden Baptist Church or The Alzheimer’s Society and would be appreciated by the family.
