Edith Ann Fleming
FLEMING, Edith Ann – Born May 5, 1939, Edythe Ann left us suddenly on January 2, 2019. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Workman Fleming in 1993, and her parents, Mary and William Phinney. EA touched many lives during her career as both nurse and teacher at S.T.E.G.H. School of Nursing and Fanshawe College. She was a talented quilter, a dog lover, a supporter of the homeless, whether animal or human and a protector of the environment. Much loved, her kind and generous spirit will be carried on by her son Michael, 4 sisters, 3 sisters and 4 brothers by marriage, many adored nieces and nephews, some great, as well as a few great-greats. She was our rock and will be forever missed. Cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends to celebrate EA’s life will be planned for a later date. If you wish, her memory can be honoured in many ways. Plant a tree, or wildflowers for the butterflies and bees, take your Canadian Tire money to your local animal shelter, canned goods to the food bank or bake some cookies for the homeless shelters, thanks. We know she would appreciate it! MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY (LONDON) INC.
