Margaretha “Margaret” Guenther

GUENTHER, Margaretha “Margaret” (December 27, 1953- January 28, 2021) Welcomed home safely into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We the family announce the passing of our special wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Margaretha “Margaret” (nee Wolf) Guenther, at home on January 28th, 2021, after a yearlong struggle with cancer, at the age of 67. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Isaac Wolf and the late former Anna (Goertzen) Wolf. Margaret worked hard in the community as a baker for five years at Country Fresh Donuts in Leamington, was employed for ten years at Lakeshore Flowers Greenhouse in Leamington, and later was a housekeeper for many years in the Guelph area. Margaret was a strong family supporter and a devoted wife to Jacob Guenther for 26 years. Margaret was a beloved stepmom to Jake, Peter, Esther, Albert and Trudy and grandma to 16 beautiful grandchildren. Sister to Gerhard Wolf, Anne Wiebe, Helen Klassen, Ike Wolfe, Susan Friesen, Pete Wolfe, and special aunt to many nieces, nephews, and cousins. “We do not grieve like people who have no hope. Private Funeral Service to Celebrate Margaret’s Life has taken place on Monday, February 1st, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, Tillsonburg by Rev. Neil Sawatzky, of Open Bible Baptist Church, Aylmer.
