Robert “Bob” White
White, Robert “Bob” of Aylmer, passed away peacefully at Chartwell Long Term Care Residence in Aylmer on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of 81. He will be remembered dearly by his wife Lucille (Lockwood) of 62 years and children Francis White of St. Thomas, Dean White (Andy) of London, Steve White (Wafaa) of London, Jamie Chapman (Dave) of Aylmer and Jackie White of London. Loving grandfather of Krista, Timothy, Phillip, Mathew, Leticia, Deana, Kerri, Jessica, Danielle, Justin, Sara, Tyler, Nathan, Jay, Maki, McKenna, and Jaxson. Leaving behind many loved great-grandchildren. Born December 9, 1938 in Dunboyne, Ontario, Robert was one of 12 children from late parents William “Bill” and Amy (Ralf) White. Predeceased by 7 of his siblings and survived by Marilyn (Walker) of St. Thomas, Ron of St. Thomas, Larry of Aylmer, and Betty (Liddle) of British Columbia. In Robert’s younger days, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and in time started his own lawn care business, cutting grass and removing snow. Robert loved to tinker around on his trucks and tractors and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and shared his love for dogs with them all. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service to honour Robert’s life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:00am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
