Mustang the prize of a Shriner Hospital draw
Tillsonburg Shrine Club Past President Don Mulholland was selling tickets outside No Frills north of Aylmer on Monday afternoon, July 21 for the organization’s annual pork barbecue that doubled as a draw for a 2014 Ford Mustang valued at about $32,000. Tickets for the barbecue and draw, that will be held at the Tillsonburg Community Centre on Wednesday, Aug. 20 (doors open at 4 p.m., buffet dinner at 5 p.m.), cost $10 and club members would be selling them outside the Aylmer No Frills on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 22-23 from about 10 a.m. until late in the afternoon, depending on interest. A club member would also be selling tickets at the Aylmer Shrine Club Cruise Night on Wednesday, July 23 in the ICS parking lot west of the Aylmer McDonald’s restaurant on Talbot Street West. This year will mark the Tillsonburg Shrine Club’s 56th annual pork fundraising barbecue. All proceeds from the barbecue and draw would go towards the Montreal Shriners Hospital for Children.
