Buses cancelled, some schools closed due to snow

All school buses were cancelled in the region for both the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board on Wednesday morning, Jan. 7 due to the snowy weather conditions.

Schools closed in the Aylmer Express coverage area included Assumption Catholic Elementary School in Aylmer, New Sarum Public School, Port Stanley PS, South Dorchester PS, Sparta PS and Summers Corners PS.

All other schools were open as not all of their students required bus transportation.
