Snow slows region down to a crawl

Lonnie Webber of 77 South Street West in Aylmer used his Yamaha Kodiak all-terrain vehicle and a blade to clear not only his driveway but his front lawn as well during the snow squalls that fell in the region on Wednesday morning, Jan. 7. About 10 centimetres or more of the white stuff was forecast to fall over the entire day. Several roads to the north of Elgin County had been closed for part of the morning due to the wintry conditions.
