Davenport advances to boys final

Davenport won 27-14. Davenport trailed in the first quarter but tied the game in the second frame and then distanced themselves from the St. Thomas team throughout the second half. The Aylmer squad played great defense, especially with the lead in the second half. The win advanced Davenport to the Southwest final versus West Elgin Senior Elementary School on Thursday, Feb. 26 at John Wise Public School in St. Thomas, tip-off at 4 p.m. The winner of that game would represent the Southwest at the Thames Valley District School Board regional championship tournament in London March 6-7.
