A day of defeats for EESS

Kyle Bennett of host East Elgin Secondary School got called for holding on this Tillsonburg player during the Thames Valley Southeast Senior boys basketball final, Tuesday, Feb. 24. Tillsonburg won the game 47-38, capping a day of losses for East Elgin’s basketball and hockey teams. However, those teams, along with EESS’s volleyball squads, will get a shot of redemption in WOSSAA AAAA tournaments. Junior and Senior girls volleyball teams will play at Saunders Secondary School in London Friday. Junior and Senior boys basketball teams will also be competing in London at Banting Secondary that day. East Elgin’s girls and boys hockey teams will have their tournaments Monday.
