Skills clinic helps young ball players get ready for the season

Tyler Vis, 7, took a turn throwing at a target on the fence of the baseball diamond at Steen Park in Aylmer during the Major League Baseball Pitch Hit Run Competition skills clinic on Saturday morning, May 14. The competition was open to boys and girls ages seven to 14 in four age divisions. The all-round champion in each division and gender group advanced to the sectional level to be held in St. Marys. The Aylmer Minor Baseball season begins Monday, May 16 with Rookie Ball at Steen Park, first pitch at 6:30 p.m.
