ian School Principal Keith Cameron took a turn at learning how to use a fire extinguisher during the annual Shirley Bechard Keep Kids Safe Day at his Aylmer school on Wednesday morning, June 15. Organized by the Elgin County Farm Safety Council, volunteers from local community organizations, including several volunteer firefighters from Malahide, set up displays and presentations informing the children about everyday hazards they should be aware of around their home, farm and community. Keep Kids Safe Day is staged at a different Malahide or Aylmer area school each year.
